FACILITY FEES
For some events,
Weiner - Robinson Theater charges a "facility fee" for each ticket
purchase. This fee is not actually an additional fee. The
fee is listed separately instead of being included in the ticket price
itself. You may not be aware of this fee at other facilities
because many facilities simply include this fee in their listed ticket
prices. We list it separately because it simplifies our accounting
by separating the fee into a specific bank account. It also
informs you that some of the cost of your ticket purchase helps us to
pay the online ticket company fees and helps us with
facility maintenance and improvements. Here are some specific
items that the facility fee is used for at the Weiner - Robinson
Theater: Remodeling of the balcony,
Remodeling of the stage,
New audiovisual
equipment, New recording equipment, TV
Monitors, Restrooms improvement and
enlargement, a
food service area and a new marque.
The facility fee will make it possible to update
the Weiner - Robinson Theater into a historic first class event facility
in La Porte.
Approximate Per Ticket Facility Fee:
Ticket Price $00 to $09.99 --- Facility Fee $02.00
Ticket Price $10 to $19.99 --- Facility Fee $02.50
Ticket Price $20 to $29.99 --- Facility Fee $03.00
Ticket Price $30 and Up --- Facility Fee $04.50
For example, where other entertainment facilities may list a ticket
price of $30.00, we would list our ticket price as $25.50 plus an $4.50
facility fee which would be the same $30 final ticket price.
